Mountain Black Honey is a true gem from the Moroccan highlands, carefully harvested in the preserved region of Zaouiat Ahansal, located in the province of Azilal. This exceptional honey is produced by bees that forage on a unique variety of flowers, including thyme, pennyroyal mint, lemon balm, and wild bupleurum.

Bupleurum, also known as “Zentaz” in some regions of Morocco, is a rare plant that grows in limited areas of the country. Unlike other herbs that bloom in the spring, bupleurum stands out for its autumn bloom, a unique phenomenon that gives this plant exceptional properties.

Honey produced from bupleurum, also called “Zentaz honey,” is distinguished by its deep black color and numerous health benefits. Rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, as well as vitamins and antioxidants, this honey is a true treasure for health. It helps strengthen the immune system, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer, and has anti-inflammatory properties beneficial for treating conditions like rheumatism and arthritis. Additionally, its low fat content makes it an ideal choice for those looking to manage their weight.

Thanks to its high magnesium content, bupleurum honey also supports the nervous system, promotes relaxation of muscles and blood vessels, and helps prevent anemia due to its high iron content. It is also effective against acne and can relieve headaches thanks to its natural compounds, including vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid.

Whether in an infusion, on toast, or used as a natural remedy, Mountain Black Honey offers you a true sensory journey to the heart of Morocco’s mountains. Savor the authenticity and purity of a honey with multiple virtues, directly from nature to your table.
