The White Gold of the Ouazzane Lands
Sourced from the protected hills of Zeradoun, in the lush province of Ouazzane, Northern Morocco.
This rare salt is hand-harvested using methods passed down through generations. Far from large industrial farms, local salt farmers gently collect these delicate crystals from natural saline springs, fed by mineral-rich groundwater aquifers of the region.
Unrefined and sun-dried under the Rif mountains’ sun, this artisanal salt retains its natural richness in magnesium, calcium, and potassium, along with a soft, balanced flavor free of bitterness. Perfect for enhancing Moroccan dishes like tagines, salads, and grilled meats, or for creating your own spice blends. It embodies the authenticity of a preserved terroir, between mountains and fertile plains.
